When Joyce Armstrong Carroll and Eddie Wilson announced the leadership transition of Abydos Learning International, they quoted Brené Brown: “A leader is anyone who takes responsibility for finding the potential in people and processes, and who has the courage to develop that potential.” Joyce and Eddie have always done exactly that—helping educators discover and grow their potential.

As new leaders, we—Terrie Roberts and Dr. Margaret Hale—are committed to carrying this legacy forward. We will strengthen Abydos’ founding principles, harness technology to expand our reach, and deepen partnerships with schools, universities, and professional organizations. Together, we will honor Abydos’ roots while building its future.
