Abydos Learning International offers expert trainers in writing, grammar, reading, content-area literacy, and more -- ready to meet the diverse needs of schools and districts.

Dr. Hale has been an Abydos Trainer for 30+ years. She also works at the University of Houston's College of Education.

Dr. Margaret Hale is Director of Professional Learning for Abydos Learning International, where she leads the design and delivery of professional development in writing, reading, grammar, and content-area literacy. She works closely with Texas school districts to create innovative, flexible learning experiences that respond to current challenges and inspire authentic literacy instruction. In addition to her role with Abydos, Dr. Hale is Professor of Education at the University of Houston and Executive Director of the EdD in Professional Leadership program. Her career bridges K-12 and higher education, uniting research and practice to strengthen teacher expertise and leadership in literacy.

Terrie works at A+UP Charter school in Houston as the Business Operations Manager, Finance Director, Head of Enrollment and Facilities Manager. Her years of business knowledge and school office experience makes her an idea fit for the Director of Marketing and Finance at Abydos.
